The longer the extension, the further the base sits from the playing surface, which is what makes the Hurricane suitable for regulation competition where players drive hard to the rim.
Honestly, for most driveways, no — and we'd rather say so before you order than after. These are institutional-grade systems. Even the lightest Storm model is over 1,100 lbs ballasted and arrives by freight truck. They're designed for gymnasiums, competition courts, schools, training facilities, and large dedicated home courts with a proper concrete pad. By freight, on a pallet, withcurbside delivery. That's the part people most often misunderstand: the driver brings the shipment to the curb, not into your gym or onto your court. Moving it from there and assembling it is your responsibility, and given the weight you'll want equipment and help arranged in advance. Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt, and note any visible damage on the paperwork at the time of delivery — that documentation is what protects your freight claim. Launch monitors — the tracking system, not the whole bay. Each VisTrak uses high-speed stereo cameras to measure your ball and club at impact, then feeds that data into simulator software. You supply the screen, projector, hitting mat, and space. All three models work with GSPro, E6 Connect, The Golf Club (TGC), Creative Golf 3D, and GSA's own software, and they detect full shots, chips, and putts.
The SCX Lite ($1,669) is the most accessible overhead camera system GSA builds, with dual stereo cameras running up to roughly 1,500 fps and infrared illumination. The SCX IR Pro ($3,270) adds non-visible infrared lighting and laser-precision factory calibration, with each unit laser-aligned before shipping; it weighs only about 4 lbs and measures roughly 3.5"H × 10"W × 30"L. The VisTrak EVi ($3,270) is the most comprehensive of the three, pairing the overhead camera with a floor-mounted side Vcam so you get dual 32-frame playback from both top and side views, precise vertical launch angle, full 360-degree spin measurement using the ball's logo, and angle of attack with strike location on the face.
A detail we like about all three: the data is user-verifiable. You can watch frame-by-frame slow-motion playback of your own shot rather than simply trusting a number.
This is the most common source of disappointment with launch monitors, so please check before ordering. GSA requires a Windows desktop PC with an Intel i5 or better processor, at least 8GB RAM, an NVIDIA GTX 1070 or better graphics card, Windows 10 or 11, and two USB 3.0 ports.

No. GSA Golf systems sold through us are licensed forpersonal, non-commercial use only. Driving ranges, golf academies, retail fitting bays, and pay-to-play simulator lounges require a separate commercial license directly from the manufacturer. If you're planning a commercial installation, contact us first and we'll point you the right way.
Sports training equipment falls under our standard 30-day return window. Given the size and value of these items, please read the Return & Refund Policy in full before ordering — freight-shipped basketball systems in particular involve return freight costs and restocking fees that are substantial relative to smaller equipment. Items must be unused and in original packaging. If something arrives damaged, document it on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately; damage noted at delivery is far easier to resolve than damage reported later.
